Through mentoring, kids learn that they matter, they learn to trust and heal and they can find hope for their futures. Christian Association of Youth Mentoring provides us with the best practices for mentoring with or without horses. The Stable Moments program is unique in that it not only partners with horses, but is structured, providing the individualized care plans targeted to match the needs of each youth.

Mentoring can improve academic performance, school attendance, graduation rates and attitudes. But the power of a mentor runs deeper than the numbers indicate. For those with horse experience, you know horses are fantastic partners in learning and healing. However, no horse experience is needed. Our program provides training, structure and support through the whole mentoring process. You will be prepared and equipped to help a youth find healing and hope.
